Gyanjyoti Public School
Like every year, this year too Gyanjyoti Public School has celebrated the Independence with grandeur. Recalling our glorious past and the constant struggle of our freedom fighters were the highlights of the programme.
On 26th September, Thursday Gyanjyoti Public School observed the birthday of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar who was an Indian educator and social reformer of the nineteenth century. His efforts to simplify and modernise Bangla prose were significant. He also rationalised and simplified the Bangla alphabet.
As we pass each year, Bapu still remains an embodiment of political ethicism across the globe. We have observed the birthday of the Father of the Nation on 2nd October to reminisce about his constant struggle to lead the successful campaign for Independence against the British Raj.
